Jr. Teaching Fellow Program
The Jr. Teaching Fellow program at Avenues introduces rising 6th-, 7th-, and 8th-graders to the world of summer program counseling in a language-immersion setting. Jr. Fellows will work alongside our summer teaching team, developing leadership and collaboration skills. Training dates will be scheduled prior to the start of the program.
Grades: Rising 6 – 8
Dates: June 22–26 and July 13–August 14 (6 one-week sessions; flexible enrollment)
Times: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Program Fee: $725 per session
Early Bird Discount: $25 off per session through March 31, 2026
Successful Jr. Teaching Fellows are:
Bilingual in Chinese/English or Spanish/English
Interested in working with young children
Enthusiastic, flexible, and comfortable in leadership roles
Willing to learn under the guidance of Avenues Summer Faculty and administrative staff
Registration includes:
Freshly-prepared, nutritious lunch

Certificate of Completion.
