Monday

Our students will explore and create through various STEAM activities (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, & Mathematics). Each week's activities will be based around a new theme. Example themes include: Winter Explorers, Character Favs, Beach Bash, Beautiful Butterflies & Intriguing Insects, and Gardening & Farming, to name a few.

Tuesday

Designated by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage of humanity, Capoeira is a mix of dance, combat, and play. It develops motor skills such as balance, strength, visual acuity, while stimulating creativity and self-confidence. Students will learn choreographies while listening to the rhythm of the berimbau, caxixi, tambourine, and reco-reco.

Wednesday

Get ready to boogie!! This engaging group, led by The Practice Room, will be a sometimes rowdy, sometimes soft sing-along style music class where we will stomp our feet, clap our hands, sing, and dance to classic songs loved by children, with some adult favorites thrown in. Exploring volume, tempo, and different moods in music will be explored and celebrated.

Thursday

Our youth soccer program offers a fun, positive, and non-competitive environment where children will learn the fundamentals of soccer. Our coaches use positive reinforcement to teach skills while building confidence. The focal point for this age group is for children to be comfortable with the ball by further developing soccer skills such as dribbling, shooting, and the introduction of passing. Classes include partner activities to promote sharing, listening, respect, and cooperation. Physical activities include dynamic exercises like moving at a pace, changing directions, and lateral agility. These classes will start with a warm-up, continue with skill building, and end with a small-sided scrimmage match.

Friday

Offered in partnership with Tutu Ballet, this class provides young students with a joyful and developmentally appropriate introduction to ballet. Through creative movement, music, and age-appropriate technique, students begin building a solid foundation for future ballet study while nurturing their creativity, coordination, and love of dance. Tutu Ballet's approach encourages a lifelong appreciation for the arts and provides an enriching early experience that supports each child's growth, whether they choose to pursue ballet more seriously in the future or simply enjoy the many benefits of movement and expression.
